Alone - Armour & Helms

So this week I balanced Armour & Helms, so hopefully this'll be the last post in a while which will just be full of pretty pictures and nothing about mechanics.

Let's start with armour. Similar to the other equipment, it goes through multiple materials, in this case - Leather, Fur, Copper, Iron, Orium.

There are three types of armour (although some materials only have two) - light, medium, and heavy - and there's the tradeoff.

All three of the armour types for each material will give a bonus to player's defence, but light armour will also give a bonus to rage generation, heavy armour a bonus to protection amount (at a rage generation penalty), and medium a small bonus to both.

Similar to shields, using bad quality armour will reduce the bonuses, and might even reduce accuracy.

Helms are similar to armour, in the sense that they come in light, medium, and heavy - but unlike armour, they don't increase the chance to dodge an attack.

Instead they provide a (rather large) bonus to rage generation or protection (or both), so it's worth using them.

And with that all done, time for a fashion show.

So yeah, that's it for this week. Next week I will update the crafting system and interface to account for these new items, and after that, rebalancing of enemies.
